Acknowledged by Forbes Magazine amongst the world’s youngest and most impactful individuals in the field of science, Kenneth Harris is known for delivering thoughtful and dynamic leadership on critical programs of national and international importance. Starting at age 16, Harris has been involved in projects at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, totaling seven missions.

Harris’ honors and awards extend beyond his professional service to the recognition of his tremendous leadership in the STEM field and international community. Harris champions the importance of early STEM exposure and engagement. His thoughts concerning the power of mentorship and impacting the next generation are reflected in his service as an elected official for the Board of Education in Prince George's County Maryland. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer he then continued his education at Johns Hopkins University receiving a Masters in Engineering Management.

Harris has been acknowledged by NASA leadership and the Project Management Institute (PMI) internationally for his historic leadership on the multi-billion dollar, James Webb Space Telescope. Placing him amongst the youngest engineers to ever accomplish integration leadership since NASA’s founding in 1958.
