Kennith Allen Thomas is an American Author, Speaker, and Leadership Development Coach also known as The Dancing Dad. Husband to Josilyne Thomas and the Father of 4 beautiful children. Thomas grew up in Willingboro, NJ about 15-20 min Outside of Philadelphia where he discovered his passion for street dance. During his sophomore year of community college, Thomas was working at the YMCA in the morning and after school program where he would dance for the kids to keep them entertained.
Thomas eventually got the opportunity to teach his first official dance class at the YMCA for $17.50. Although the money was peanuts, Thomas took to his mothers' words of wisdom (Kenny whatever you do in life, do it with love, because if you don't love what you do, you'll find yourself in a dark place). Thomas then dropped out of college, followed his dream to become a Professional Dancer and Choreographer.
Following his dream led him to perform and teach all over America, and even traveling to teach and Judge events in Tokyo, Bulgaria, Rome, Italy, and more. Thomas has always had a passion for community and leadership. In 2016 Thomas continued to follow his dream of opening a dance studio for his community to lead and teach aspiring artists how to be successful in the entertainment industry.
Although short-lived, Thomas is known for his heroic leadership efforts in helping his special needs son, Kristian (Who has Down Syndrome), defeat AMKL-leukemia in half the time projected by doctors in just 149 Days. Thomas also Hosts seminars and workshops while also speaking for organizations increasing their team mindset teaching how to overcome adversity for better success personally and professionally.
Thomas delivers positive and inspiring content to over 300,000 Followers across all his social media platforms daily. With 20 Years of Experience as a Choreographer in the entertainment industry, Thomas has taken the principles of a leader in dance and choreography to help companies get the best out of their employees and drive more success for their future.
