Kerstin is a conservation biologist and social entrepreneur with over 9 years of practice in conservation, passionate and specialized in social engagement for marine conservation. She’s the Founder and Director of Planeta Océano and has designed, developed and contributed to numerous research and environmental education initiatives along the coasts and mountains of Peru. Through her work in Planeta Océano, Kerstin has been recognized as part of the "30 under 30" Social Entrepreneurs by Forbes, Top 10 Latin American Social Entrepreneurs by Univision, Ashoka fellow, among others. Kerstin's professional career combines with her personal attraction to nature and animals, her diving hobby and interest in bonding with people from different backgrounds.
