Co-founder of Brainsights

Kevin Keane is the co-founder of Brainsights, a brand new business that is all about making content and communications better. Founded and based in Toronto, Canada, Brainsights grew out of its founders’ deep misgivings over existing ways to evaluate content. Focus groups were subject to misleading facilitators and dominant participants. Surveys were bound too much by language and structure. Even digital content metrics – clicks, impressions, likes, and so on – paid too much heed to a user’s active participation. Something was missing.

As Co-founder and ceo of Brainsights, Kevin runs a neuromarketing start-up that quantifies the consumer subconscious, mining brain data to help advertisers, agencies and media companies better understand their consumer, and create more impactful content.

Previous to founding Brainsights, Kevin established and grew Mediacom's Business Science division in Canada, the first agency-based modelling outfit in Canada, working with clients across a range of industries on business modelling and performance analytics.

Kevin has held a host of international communications consulting roles, both agency and advertiser-side, working with clients as varied as the BBC, National Lotteries of both the UK and Netherlands, Starbucks, Colgate, Microsoft, Shell, Hyundai and DIAGEO.
