Kevin Lofton was named Chief Executive Officer of CommonSpirit Health (CSH) on February 1, 2019. CSH is the merger of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health (DH). CSH is the second largest healthcare system in the country with revenues exceeding $29 billion, approximately 15,000 employees, operating 142 hospitals and 700+ care sites across 21 states.

Prior to this, Lofton served as the CEO of CHI for 16 years beginning in 2003. Lofton has been included in Modern Healthcare magazine's annual list of the "100 Most Influential People in Healthcare" 14 times. Lofton serves on the boards of Gilead Sciences, Inc., the Rite Aid Corp and the Georgia State University Foundation. He is active with the American Hospital Association, having served as the 2007 Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chair of the AHA PAC from 2015 to 2018.
