Kevin McHale is a retired power forward who played for the Boston Celtics. He teamed with Robert Parish and Larry Bird to form one of the greatest frontlines in NBA history. During his 13-year career, McHale won three NBA titles and was a two-time Sixth Man of the Year winner. He was also a seven-time All-Star, six-time All-Defensive team selection and chosen to the All-NBA first team. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1999 and is a member of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History.

After his playing career, McHale served as the general manager and coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves, serving 15 seasons. He then went on to be an NBA Analyst for Turner Sports.

McHale served as the head coach for the Houston Rockets from 2011-2015. He is one of six members of the 1985–1986 Celtics' championship team to serve as an NBA head coach.

McHale currently works as an on-air analyst for NBA TV and Turner Sports's popular NBA on TNT studio show.
