Kevin Murphy, a former union truck driver and teacher, is an accomplished court room lawyer and speaker. He received his law degree in 1981 and was a columnist before writing his first book, Surviving Cancer after surviving cancer. His story has helped countless people cope with cancer and their relationships. He is the founder of The Phyllis Foundation, a non-profit corporation whose primary charitable purpose is to spread the word about coping with the emotional side of cancer.
