Kevin Nealon

SNL Cast Member, Star of "Weeds", Actor in "Man With A Plan"

Kevin Nealon sets himself apart from other comedic performers with his unique sense of humor, dry wit, and likable demeanor. He is best known for his nine-year stint as a cast member of NBC’s "Saturday Night Live," and has received critical acclaim for his role in the Showtime series, "Weeds." Nealon is currently seen starring in the CBS-TV comedy series "Man With A Plan."

"Weeds," which completed its eighth and final season, has been recognized with Golden Globes nominations for "Best Television Series Comedy or Musical" in 2006, 2007, and 2009. Additionally, in 2007 and 2009, "Weeds" was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series." In the show, Nealon portrayed a stoned accountant and business advisor.

On the big screen, Nealon has worked alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in "Just Go with It." The film, where he portrayed one half of a plastic-surgery-obsessed couple, grossed over $214 million worldwide. He also starred with Sandler in "Blended," "Eight Crazy Nights," "The Wedding Singer," "Happy Gilmore," and "You Don’t Mess with the Zohan." Nealon’s other film credits include "Joe Dirt" with David Spade, "Daddy Day Care" with Eddie Murphy, and "Good Boy" with Molly Shannon. He recently completed work on the film "And They’re Off," a comedy about a failed horse trainer.

Nealon also provided the voice for the title role in the animated series "Glenn Martin, DDS," and has appeared in numerous other television shows including "Monk," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Still Standing," and the digital series "Hiking with Kevin," which he produces and hosts on his YouTube channel. His stand-up special "Whelmed…But Not Overly" for Showtime debuted in August 2012.

As one of the longest-running cast members on "Saturday Night Live" (1986-1995), Nealon created some of the show’s most memorable characters, including ‘The Subliminal Man’ and ‘Hans and Franz.’ His recurring role as an anchor on ‘Weekend Update’ helped make the sketch a show staple. In 1988, Nealon earned an Emmy Award nomination as part of the "Saturday Night Live" writing team.

In addition to his screen achievements, Nealon authored the book "Yes, You’re Pregnant, But What About Me?" - a humorous look at the male perspective of pregnancy. The book is available in bookstores. Currently, Kevin resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
