Kevin O'Connor is the host of the Emmy Award-winning home improvement television series "This Old House" and "Ask This Old House," a role he has held since 2003. O'Connor's approachable demeanor and willingness to learn alongside the audience have made him a beloved figure among viewers, who appreciate his ability to make complex projects accessible to homeowners of all skill levels.

Prior to his television career, O’Connor worked for Bank of America as a Senior Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Group and before that, in the Sports Finance Group at Fleet Bank. His journey into television began when he and his wife wrote a letter to "This Old House" seeking advice on a home renovation project. The producers were so impressed with O'Connor's on-camera presence and interest in the field that they invited him to audition for the role of host. His natural curiosity and ability to connect with both experts and audiences alike quickly earned him the position. With O'Connor as the helm, "This Old House" continued to thrive, maintaining its reputation as a trusted source of home improvement advice and inspiration.

In addition to his work on "This Old House," O'Connor is the host of the podcast "Clearstory" and has hosted shows for the DIY and History’s H2 networks. He is also a published author, having co-written "The Best Homes from This Old House."

O’Connor received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the College of the Holy Cross and a master’s in business administration from Boston University.
