Kevin Tracey    

President and CEO, Feinstein Institute for Medical Research

Kevin Tracey is president of The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research and president and professor of the Elmezzi Graduate School of Molecular Medicine. A neurosurgeon by training, he is credited with discovering how the brain controls the immune system’s response to threat. Tracey received the DeWitt Stetten lectureship in 2007 from National Institutes of Health and co-chaired the first international scientific congress addressing the inflammatory reflex. He is editor-in chief of Molecular Medicine and advisory editor of the Journal of Experimental Medicine. His book, Fatal Sequence: The Killer Within, recounts the hospital course of a young patient with sepsis who changed his life.
