Kevin Wang is the Founder of FOSSA, an open-source software startup.The company has developed a tool that scans software under development for open source components that need to be licensed and automates disclosures and attributions.

Before founding FOSSA, Wang was briefly was enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley​ for a year studying computer science​ before dropping out when he won a Thiel Fellowship​ for his company TL;DR. Wang has since been a Former Fellow at XSeed Capital and has worked at Techstars​ and Cloudera.​
