Olympic Freestyle Skier; Co-Founder of Halfdays

Kiley McKinnon is an American freestyle skier who specializes in aerials. After competing in the 2018 Olympics in men's clothing, she teamed up with her friend Ariana Ferwerda to start Halfdays, an outdoor apparel brand company made by women for women. She and Ferweda were named to Forbes' "30 Under 30" list in Retail and Ecommerce in 2023.

Born in Connecticut, McKinnon grew up skiing in Vermont, then moved to Park City when she began professionally skiing. Her rise to success began in 2014 in Beijing, where she jumped to a third place finish at the FIS Freestyle World Cup aerials opener. She landed on the podium four more times the following year, jumping to a silver medal at the 2015 FIS Freestyle Ski World Championships. Her consistent jumping allowed her to take home the World Cup overall title at the end of the season.

Mckinnon captured a handful of top-10 finishes during the 2016 season, including another podium in Beijing. The following year, she landed a second place finish on home snow at the Visa Freestyle International and a fourth place finish at the FIS Freestyle World Championships prior to competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics.

She is a graduate of the University of Utah.
