Kim Alexis is one of the most recognized faces in the modeling industry. She has graced the cover of over 500 magazines, has done countless commercials for print and television, and is notably known for her appearances on covers of "Vogue," "Harper’s Bazaar," and "Cosmopolitan." She set the record for the most cover appearances on "Glamour" magazine and appeared in six "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit" editions. She also walked the runway for top designers in New York and Milan and became the exclusive face of Revlon's Ultima II in 1983.
In addition to her modeling career, Alexis transitioned into broadcasting and served as the Fashion Correspondent for "Good Morning America" for three years. She then hosted several television shows on networks including The Food Network, TV Land, The Family Channel, and Lifetime. Her work in broadcasting expanded her skill set to include all aspects of being a spokesperson, including satellite media tours and public speaking.
Alexis has authored nine books, sharing her insights and experiences. Her works include the e-book "Modeling: How to be Discovered," which provides an inside look at entering the modeling world, and fiction titles such as "Beauty to Die For" and "With a Little Luck" that draw from her modeling background. Additionally, she co-wrote "A Model for a Better Future," offering perspectives on maintaining integrity in today's culture. Her extensive experience also led her to serve as a judge for the Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss America, and Miss Teen USA contests.
Transitioning her focus towards health and fitness, Alexis has completed eight marathons and three triathlons, advocating for health, nutrition, fitness, parenting, self-improvement, and women's empowerment. She promotes a brand of products encouraging women of any age to stay healthy and active, and shares her experiences in overcoming a thyroid disorder to help others manage their health. Currently residing in New York, NY, Alexis remains a significant influence among women aged 35-60, viewed as both accessible and likable.
