Kim Perell
Entrepreneur & CEO of Adconion Direct
Kim Reed Perell is a dynamic and highly successful internet entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience in digital media and technology. Kim is currently the CEO of Adconion Direct. Kim was previously the CEO and founder of Frontline Direct, a leading performance marketing company which she self-funded and grew to over $100 million in annual revenue. Frontline Direct was acquired in February 2008 by Adconion Media Group. In 2011, Frontline Direct and the Adconion Audience Network merged to become Adconion Direct and appointed Kim as CEO. Kim successfully led the integration and overall digital media strategy to create a cohesive and visionary team and united technology platform. The success of Adconion Direct has created a blueprint and center of excellence for the global organization.
Kim is driven by a passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and most importantly, people. Kim and her team have focused on creating a culture that puts people first. She believes great people make great companies, a mantra that is evident in all aspects of company’s culture. Adconion Direct’s success is not only shared with employees, but also with the community at large. Kim strongly believes in corporate responsibility, and this philosophy is incorporated into the company values, as Adconion Direct chooses a local organization to support each quarter. To date, the company has partnered with the Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy, Feeding America, Milestone House, Goodwill, New Life Headstart and Father Joe’s Villages. These incredible service events provide an opportunity for employees to give back, work as a team, and accomplish something that makes an immediate change in the lives of others.
Kim’s contributions and leadership have been recognized by the San Diego Business Journal, where Kim was nominated as one of San Diego’s Most Admired CEOs and Adconion Direct was voted one of San Diego’s Best Places to work in 2012. Kim has also been featured in San Diego Magazine’s “Women Who Move the City” issue, and was featured on the cover of San Diego Metro Magazine’s “Women Who Rock” issue. Additionally, Adconion Direct was named one of San Diego’s Most Trusted Brands by San Diego Metro Magazine.
Prior to founding Frontline Direct, Kim was responsible for internet marketing and sales at Xdrive Technologies (acquired by AOL). Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Pepperdine University.
