Kim Wilson

Kim Wilson, Founder of The Loretta Johnson Global Abstinence Project, is a Speaker; Author; Professor and Consultant that focuses on speaking about and promoting Abstinence, especially to Black and Hispanic women and girls in United States and globally.

Kim Wilson, Founder of The Loretta Johnson Global Abstinence Project, is a Speaker; Author; Professor; Researcher; and Consultant. Kim developed and presents the workshop, entitled Experiencing God's Best for Your Life through Abstinence. This workshop is being presented throughout the United States and on 3 continents and over 20 countries, to approximately 10,000 women and girls each month by Kim Wilson, as well as other presenters in Africa, Asia and North America . HIV/AIDS related illness is now the leading cause of death among Black women ages 25-34 and Black women account for approximately 70% of new cases of HIV in the U.S. (and in certain major cities, percentages are as high as some sub Saharan African countries). Also, 72% of Black children are born outside of wedlock and being raised in single parent homes headed mostly by their mothers (and no father). Hispanic women account for 21% of new cases of HIV in the U.S and 53% of Hispanic children are born outside of wedlock and being raised in single parent homes headed mostly by their mothers (and no father). Therefore, if we lose Black and Hispanic single mothers to sexually transmitted diseases, a large percentage of children will have no parent they can depend on or who will want to raise them (which has already happened to a generation of children in sub Saharan Africa). This is a life or death issue for so many women and leads to a horrible future for too many children in the United States and world-wide. Because of this, Kim Wilson focuses on speaking about Abstinence especially to Black and Hispanic women and girls in the United States and in sub-Saharan Africa and world-wide. She focuses on the facts, research and experiences to promote Abstinence as the only 100% method to avoid the problems that come with out-of-wedlock pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases because this answer to the solution is not promoted nearly enough to women and girls in Black and Hispanic communities. Kim has served as an Adjunct Professor for Regent University and Liberty University (two major Christian Universities) and author of several books and training guides including her latest book entitled, The ABSTINENCE Handbook: for Women and Girls throughout the World for the purpose of reaching, communicating and promoting the benefits of Abstinence to Black and Hispanic women in the United States, as well as sub-Saharan Africa and world-wide. This book is designed to be quick- to-read and easy to follow and is already available in paperback; Audio Book CD and Spanish version. She has also been a guest on many radio and television shows, such as The Harvest Show (Family Entertainment Network/LeSea Broadcasting); Atlanta Live; and Urban Talk Radio (American Family Association or AFA); and has had many articles written about her organization and contributions throughout the United States and globally.

Kim earned her B.S in Marketing from Indiana University in Bloomington , Indiana and M.B.A in Marketing from Atlanta University in Atlanta , Georgia . She lives with her husband and son, Clayton and Clay III in Peachtree City , Georgia (a suburb of Atlanta ).
