Kimberly Hunter

Award-Winning Mixologist & Founder of Potent Pours

Kimberly Hunter is an award-winning mixologist and cocktail book author who teaches mixology workshops and offers craft cocktail consulting. She is the founder of Potent Pours, a mobile bartending service based out of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas, that makes Instagram-worthy cocktails out of unique seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Hunter started her entrepreneurial journey by inviting her girlfriends over to her house for a 5 o'clock happy hour. Then when she started her business, she took her home grown approach to cocktails very seriously and prioritized quality along with quality. Hunter uses all natural ingredients and promises you can taste the difference. Hunter founded her mobile bartending service in 2018 and in just a couple short years built a dedicated following and won the Peoples Choice & Best Overall Award in the mixology competition at Black Restaurant Week. Hunter now teaches engaging mixology workshops. With her expertise you'll be making flavorful and stunning cocktails your followers will be jealous of.

Hunter offers both in-person and virtual mixology classes. During the in-person experience, Hunter will guide you through making 3 craft cocktails with recipes she created herself (no boring old fashioneds here). During the virtual experience, Hunter will guide you through making two craft cocktails. Mocktail recipes are available for anyone who chooses.

Meet Kim Hunter of Potent Pours
Thanks for sharing your story with us Kim. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there. "Like most people, I just love happy hour. Also like most people, I have to drive like a bat out of hell just to get to happy hour in time! I started hosting “girls night” at my house. I’d invite my girls over, and I would play bartender."
