Koos Lodewijkx is the CTO for IT Risk in the Office of the IBM CISO. His responsibilities include the multi-year technical strategy for Cybersecurity for the IBM Corporation, technical architecture, IT risk assessment, and the various IT Risk policies and standards. Until 2010, he was strategy lead for the security product portfolio in IBM Software Group. Koos joined IBM in 2007 with the acquisition of Consul Risk Management, where over his 8 year tenure he held various management positions, including in product management, support and services, and software development. A Dutch national, Koos emigrated to the USA in 2005 with his wife and two daughters, where they live in the Washington, DC, area.
