Kristen Clifford is currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at the Alzheimer's Association. With almost two decades of experience in various health-related sectors, her professional journey spans patient advocacy, health care relationship management, medical education, and research. Prior to her role at the Alzheimer's Association, Clifford was the National Vice President of Healthcare Access for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a tenure that lasted from 2016 to 2020.

In her role as the Chief Program Officer, Clifford is entrusted with overseeing the Alzheimer's Association's efforts in three critical areas: care, support, and risk reduction for those affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. This responsibility involves a multifaceted approach, addressing the needs of both those afflicted with the disease and their caregivers, and working towards minimizing the risks associated with these conditions.

Clifford spearheads care and support services offered across the organization, from health system outreach to quality improvement initiatives. Her work also extends to long-term care initiatives and growth strategies, with the aim of reaching more individuals through quality improvement, education, and supportive programs and services. These activities are pivotal in fulfilling the Alzheimer's Association's mission of providing and enhancing care and support for all affected by Alzheimer's and other dementia.
