Kirsten Green launched San Francisco-based Forerunner Ventures in 2010, and currently serves as founder and managing director. Green has more than 20 years of evaluation and investment success, stemming from product savvy, retail acumen and a thesis-driven approach that has been the basis of all Forerunner investments — from pre-revenue startups to multi-billion-dollar enterprises. Green led efforts to raise more than $250 million from leading investors, and has invested in more than 40 early-stage companies. She has been honored as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World 2017, and is part of Forbes’ 2017 Midas List. Prior to Forerunner, Green was an equity research analyst and investor at Banc of America Securities. She graduated from UCLA with a BA in business economics, and earned a CPA license and a CFA certification.
