Kristen Kish is the chef/partner of Arlo Grey in Austin, Texas and the host of Bravo’s Emmy Award-winning cooking competition “Top Chef.” She is also the host and producer of “Restaurants at the End of the World” on National Geographic/Disney+.

In 2023, Kish was named to TIME's 100 Next, AdWeek’s Creative 100 and Marie Claire’s Power lists.

Born in South Korea and adopted into a family in Kentwood, MI, Kish showed an affinity for cooking at a young age. Her mother suggested she go to culinary school and since attending Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago, Kish has never looked back. She honed her skills at several high-profile restaurants in Boston, including Guy Martin's Michelin-star Sensing and Barbara Lynch's Stir and Menton. Kish’s TV career began when she competed on -- and won -- season 10 of “Top Chef.” In a full circle moment, she was named host of the beloved series for the 21st season. Her other television credits include hosting “Fast Foodies” on truTV/Food Network, “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend” on Netflix, and "36 Hours" on the Travel Channel.

Kish is the author of two cookbooks, “Kristen Kish Cooking: Recipes and Techniques” and "It's All in the Sauce: Bringing Your Uniqueness to the Table."
