Kristy Sammis is the Founder of Clever Girls Collective, Inc., an award-winning, multimillion-dollar social media advertising agency in the SF Bay Area.

Clever Girls connects large brands such as Disney, Cover Girl, Kroger, Ford, GAP, and Office Depot with their network of 6,500 women who are influential in social media.

Kristy co-founded Clever Girls in 2009 because she is passionate about the ways in which friends, strangers, and organizations intersect online. She is a staunch advocate for keeping social media social.

From bootstrapped start-up to thriving agency, Kristy has been responsible for developing Clever Girls' network, product & service offerings, marketing & sales strategies, and brand voice. She also led the development of Clever Girls' proprietary technology platform, which Clever Girls uses to connect brands with their network of vetted social media influencers.

Kristy’s spent the better part of the last decade translating the amazing aspects of social media – those embodied by the #Batkid phenomenon that Clever Girls spearheaded – into business principles: notably, that authenticity rules, “users” are actually human beings, and great stories always win the day.
