Kunal Nayyar is a British-Indian actor known for his role as Raj Koothrappali in the CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory". He is also recognized for his voice work in animated projects including "Family Guy," "Glenn Martin DDS," and "Ice Age: Continental Drift" where he voiced the character Gupta.

Forbes listed Nayyar as the world's third-highest-paid TV actor in 2015 and 2018. He won a Garland Award for his role in "Huck and Holden". He was nominated for several Screen Actors Guild Awards for his role in "The Big Bang Theory". In addition to his acting accolades, Nayyar won the Mark Twain Award for comic brilliance and was a fellow at the Sundance Theater Lab.

Nayyar co-hosted the "Tribute to Nerds" show with co-star Simon Helberg at the comedy festival Just for Laughs in 2011. He narrated and co-produced the documentary "Beyond all Boundaries," which delves into the lives of cricket fans during the 2011 World Cup. Nayyar published a memoir titled "Yes, My Accent is Real: and Some Other Things I Haven’t Told You" which provides an insightful look into his journey from India to Hollywood.
