Kunwoo Lee is the Cofounder and CEO of GenEdit, a startup that has raised $1.5 million to develop a genome editing tool known as CRISPR/Cas9. Lee started the company after co-authoring a paper showing CRISPR could cure muscular dystrophy in mice. In 2018, he was recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in healthcare.
Lee is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
