NBA Player for the San Antonio Spurs

Kyle Anderson is a professional basketball player for the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. Originally from New York City, Anderson started playing basketball at a young age and played college basketball for UCLA. He spent two years at UCLA, where in 2014 Anderson was labeled the Most Outstanding Player of the Pac-12 Tournament, the first conference tournament title UCLA had won in six years. That year he averaged 14.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 6.5 assists each game.

Anderson left college in the spring of 2014 to enter the NBA Draft. He was selected in the first round, as the 30th overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs. He made his first NBA starting appearance against the New York Knicks, scoring 9 points and helping the team win the game 109-95.

He also spent time in Austin with the NBA Development League, the Austin Spurs. He was named NBA Development League Player of the Month in February 2015. Anderson played 72 games with the San Antonio Spurs in 2016-2017, and began as a starter for the 2017-2018 season.
