Former NFL Player; NFL Broadcaster & Analyst for CBS

After a seven-year NFL playing career with the Chicago Bears, where he was a three-time Pro Bowl selection (2013-15) and one-time All-Pro honoree (2014) Kyle Long retired from the Chicago Bears in 2020. Upon retirement, Long was hired as a studio analyst. studio analyst for CBS Sports Network’s THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW (TOPS). Long joins panelists Adam Schein, Amy Trask and London Fletcher to form the cable Network’s Sunday pregame show team. Long joins Amazon's Twitch platform for broadcast duties for the 2020 season, serving as co- host “The NFL Comment Box,” an ask-me-anything-style show giving fans the chance to engage with them as well as “The NFL Machine,” in which he'll walk through and analyze footage from the NFL Films archive.Long can also been as host of s a new weekly show on NASCAR’s YouTube Channel titled “The Kyle Long Show.”

In his 2013-14 rookie year campaign with the Chicago Bears, Kyle Long became the team’s first offensive rookie since Gale Sayers to be named to the NFL Pro Bowl. In his first year in the league Long was credited with giving up only two sacks during the regular season on a total of 1,079 snaps. Long was named to both the NFL.com All-Rookie Team and the Pro Football Focus All-Rookie Team. Long has been selected to the the Pro Bowl in his first three seasons in the league.

Long was selected as the 20th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. He continues the family tradition of playing in the NFL following his father Howie, member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and brother Chris, a defensive standout for the St. Louis Rams.

During his junior year at the University of Oregon, he helped lead the Ducks to victory over Kansas State in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl. During the 2011 season, Long played football at Saddleback Junior College after transferring from Florida State University where he played baseball under scholarship. Prior to that, he was selected in the 23rd round by the Chicago White Sox in the 2008 Major League Baseball draft.

In 2019, Long partnered with iRacing and the 2019 eNASCARPEAK Antifreeze iRacingSeries entering two cars into the series under the team name Mode Motorsports.

The Charlottesville, VA native was a two-sport All-American in baseball and football at St. Anne’s-Belfield High School.
