Seeing the negative effects of social isolation take a toll on his own grandmother, Kyle Rand decided to address the problem with Rendever. The company is a virtual reality experience aimed to improve the aging process by bringing the outside world to the seniors. For Rand the solution wasn't far from his expertise - his previous job as research fellow at Duke focused on memory declines in seniors. Due to his work with Rendever, Rand was recently listed as a Forbes 30 Under 30 in Consumer Technology.
