Kyle Rote is the only American-born player to ever win a Major Professional Soccer League scoring championship. He is a three-time winner of ABC-TV's Superstars Competition over such greats as O.J. Simpson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Pete Rose, Lynn Swann, Roger Staubach and hundreds of others. Kyle has spoken at the White House for President Ford and in London for Prince Philip. In 1984 he was selected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Men In America. He has been a national TV commentator on numerous occasions.
