Head Football Coach of Ole Miss Rebels

Lane Kiffin is the head football coach at the University of Mississippi. Kiffin again became recognized as one of the top coaches in the country during a three-year run at Florida Atlantic. He led the Owls to two Conference USA championships. Kiffin previously spent three seasons offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama, building some of the top offenses in college football. Kiffin began his career as an assistant coach for Fresno State from 1997-1998. In 1999, Kiffin worked as a graduate assistant for Colorado State University. While working with Colorado State, Kiffin secured a job with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a quality control assistant for one year. Kiffin began working with USC during the 2001 season where he was the tight end coach. The following year, Kiffin became the wide receivers coach where he spent two years. Kiffin was promoted to passing game coordinator and offensive coordinator for the 2005 season. On January 23, 2007, Kiffin became the youngest head coach in the NFL’s modern era when he coached for the Oakland Raiders. Kiffin was fired from the Raiders on September 30, 2008. Kiffin signed with the University of Tennessee on November 30, 2008 where he only spent one year. Kiffin left the University of Tennessee to become USC’s head coach in 2010.
