Larry Ackerman is a leading authority on organizational and personal identity. He is a group director for Siegel & Gale, an international brand consulting firm and widely regarded as the pioneer in the field of identity-based management.

In a career spanning nearly twenty-five years, Mr. Ackerman has worked to solve some the most pressing identity challenges facing large organizations, their leaders and the people they lead. His vision has helped many senior executives discover the right path for their organizations as well as for themselves. As a coach to senior executives, as well as a consultant to their organizations, his insights have helped many leaders discover the keys not just to survive, but to flourish. His diverse clients include Alcoa, Maytag, Fidelity Investments, Dow Chemical, Ernst & Young, Boise Cascade, the European beverages giant, Interbrew, and the Norwegian industrial concern, Norsk Hydro.

In Identity Is Destiny: Leadership and the Roots of Value Creation, his first book, the author set forth a revolutionary view of the nature of identity and its fundamental impact on organizational and personal development.

Mr. Ackerman has been a guest speaker at leading universities including the Yale School of Management, UCLA Anderson School and Wharton, where he has conducted personal identity development seminars for graduate students. Larry also leads workshops on personal identity for the Learning Annex in New York City and is a regular keynote speaker for senior management meetings among leading global companies.

Mr. Ackerman resides in Weston, Connecticut, with his wife, Janet, and son, Max.
