Larry Fitzgerald is a philanthropist, business owner, investor, and former wide receiver for the National Football League (NFL).

He holds many records for the franchise and the League, including 40 single-season and career franchise records with the Cardinals in the following categories: most receptions, most receiving yards, most touchdowns receiving, most total touchdowns, most games with 100-plus yards receiving, and the list goes on and on. As much as Fitzgerald loves playing football, his proudest accomplishments have happened for him off the field.

In 2005, Fitzgerald founded The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation in honor of his mother, who passed away as a result of breast cancer in 2003. One of the Foundations’ initiatives is the Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund, which makes grants to promote reading and effective use of technology for K-12 youth. The other area of focus for Fitzgerald’s charitable work is breast cancer research and support. In the last year alone, The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation has issued grants totaling over $1 million dollars.

Fitzgerald also discovered his passion for business early on and has accumulated an impressive portfolio of investments. As a business owner, he prides himself in serving as a leader and also learning from his partners like PHX Suns and most recently as a board member of Dick’s Sporting Goods.

When he is not on the field or in the boardroom, you can find Fitzgerald on the golf course. In 2020, he won his second Pebble Beach Pro Am tournament. He is also an amateur photographer and always has his camera with him to capture images from his extensive travels.

Fitzgerald is the proud father of three boys and while he resides in Arizona, he splits his time between his home state of Minnesota and wherever his passion for travel takes him.
