Larry Foote, who plays Linebacker and wears jersey number 55 for the Detroit Lions in the National Football League, was born on June 12, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan. He stands 6 feet 1 inch and weighs 239 lbs. After playing college football at Michigan, he was drafted in the 4th round in 2002, 128th pick overall.

Before joining the Detroit Lions in 2009, he has also been a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2002-2008.

He was a First-team All-Big Ten in 2000 and 2001 and First-team All-American in 2001.He was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers teams that won Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII.
