I live in Downtown Phoenix with my husband Felix, our 6 year old, and our two Boston Terriers. I'm a contributor to the Phoenix New Times' food (Chow Bella) and Culture (Jackalope Ranch) blogs.

I began working from home in spring of 2013. Felix and I also recently launched our handmade print and greeting card shop. The transition from a full-time corporate job to self-employment has been one of the most challenging, terrifying, and satisfying steps I've taken.

I find myself talking about it often on this blog. I look forward to date nights and bike rides with Felix, lunch dates with friends, and quiet nights at home with Netflix and takeout.
