Laura Maasdam is an executive coach and team-building expert working across all client teams at McChrystal Group to achieve breakthroughs in alignment and performance. Prior to joining McChrystal Group, Laura served as the lead Negotiation Trainer and Director for Program Development for The SAB Group in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Laura also spent 10 years serving as a helicopter pilot in the United States Navy, during which time she flew the CH-46 Sea Knight and the SH-60F Sea Hawk. She was deployed throughout the Middle East multiple times and served in elite leadership and staff positions globally.

Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Physics from the United States Naval Academy and her Master of Public Administration from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, where she focused on Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, Performance Leadership, and the Psychology of Decision Making.
