Laura Posada is a multi-talented woman: mother, attorney, motivational speaker, author, certified life coach, family health and fitness activist, TV personality, and philanthropic figure. She has been chosen by People en Espanol magazine as one of the Most Powerful Women of 2016.

Laura showcased her life coaching expertise as life coach for the constant on the TV show Nuestra Belleza latina on Univision and as producer and host of the TV show Manual de Supervivencia con Laura Posada (Survival Guide with Laura Posada), which aired on Utilisima and FoxLife. Likewise, she has appeared as a regular contributor on NBC’s national morning program The Today Show to showcase her life coaching tips and also makes regular appearances on Univision’s Despierta América amongst others.

Currently Laura is a contributor for Inspirulina, Siempre Mujer Magazine and Ser Padres Magazine.

Laura is also a prominent writer and has published two award-winning books Fit Home Team and The Beauty of Love. This year she released her third book La Dieta Mental: Tu Clave Para Ser Feliz (The Mental Diet: Your Key to Happiness). Her first book was awarded three Atria Book Awards in 2009, and she was the second place winner in the categories Best Health Book, Best Parenting and Family Book, and Best Book in the Mariposa Awards.

At the end of the 90s, Laura’s son was born with Craniosynostosis, which inspired her to create The Jorge Posada Foundation to raise awareness and help others going through the same situation. The Jorge Posada Foundation joined the MyFace Foundation in 2012, where Laura has been a Board Member for the last 15 years. Her activism and solid work was recognized by President Obama during a White House speech on April 2010.

Laura has also been featured in several English and Spanish publications and social media outlets. In addition she has appeared in many radio and TV shows such as: Discovery Channel’s American Chopper, ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Doctors, E! True Hollywood Stories’ Baseball Wives, The Wendy Williams Show, and HBO’s Bryant Gumbel’s Real Stories, just to mention a few.

Laura has travelled around the United States and Latin America serving as guest and motivational speaker in destinations such as New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Washington, San Juan, Panama, Guatemala, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Peru. Every day, Laura transforms the lives of those she touches inspiring them with her strength and fighting spirit.
