Country Music Singer-Songwriter & Runner-Up on Season 10 of American Idol

Georgia native Lauren Alaina is a country music singer-songwriter who captured America’s hearts when she appeared on Season 10 of "American Idol," ultimately finishing as the runner-up.

In 2017, Lauren followed up her #1 debut album with the release of her eagerly-awaited sophomore album, Road Less Traveled. Selected as one of Rolling Stone’s Most Anticipated Albums of 2017, the collection of 12 songs all written by the young star includes Lauren’s first #1 on the Country Airplay chart and the title track, “Road Less Traveled.” Her second #1 came later that year when she simultaneously topped five Billboard charts with her friend and former classmate Kane Brown on their duet "What Ifs."

Lauren, who has been called the "sassy Southerner with killer pipes," (PARADE), has shared the stage with country superstars including Alan Jackson and Carrie Underwood.

Lauren regularly appears on the Grand Ole Opry, is one of Radio’s Nashville Rising Artists, is a Spotify Spotlight on Country featured artist and is one of CMT’s Next Women of Country.

She participated in season 28 of "Dancing with the Stars," finishing in fourth place with her dancing partner Gleb Savchenko.
