Leadership Consultant; Talent Management and Organizational Development

Lauren Frankel has over 35 years experience in the talent management, organizational and learning development arenas.

She began her career in the more traditional manner— designing, developing, and implementing training programs. This led to managing a Learning and Development function and MBA Trainee Programs for several large, national banks (Union Bank, First Interstate Bank and US Bancorp). Over the years, as she partnered with senior business and HR leaders, Lauren developed extensive organizational development experience.

In 1994, Lauren joined the Capital Group Companies, a leading global investment management organization. Her role, as senior manager and vice president of the Corporate Talent Management group, enabled her to work in a global capacity supporting the organizational and talent initiatives of the major business groups. Her responsibilities included assessing talent readiness, succession planning, team development, executive coaching, change management, project management, competency development and performance management.

In her consulting role, Lauren leverages her corporate experiences by partnering with business leaders in the for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. She has extensive Board of Directors experience, having served as chair and on the Executive committees of several. She is able to apply her relationship building, coaching, and strategic planning skills for a variety of firms and independent schools.

Lauren works with individuals as well as with functional and senior leadership teams. Her needs analyses results in a focused, uncomplicated process and solution, involving the client throughout an engagement. She excels in creating and facilitating group processes— always with her eye on the tangible business result.
