Lauren Mackler is a world-renowned coach, best-selling author, speaker, radio show host, TV/radio commentator, and creator of the Illumineering Coaching method. She is the author of the international best-seller, "Solemate: Master the Art of Aloneness & Transform Your Life" and co-author of "Speaking of Success" with Jack Canfield, Stephen Covey, and Kenneth Blanchard. Named one of the "Top Ten Coaches in America" by Vitals Magazine, Lauren is a frequent commentator for CNN and FOX, and a blogger for the Huffington Post.

Prior to entering the personal and professional development field in 1982, Lauren was a vocalist with the hit recording group Tuxedo Junction and a host on the PM Magazine television show. In 1982, Lauren left the entertainment industry to become a psychotherapist. She lived in Germany for several years, where she gained national recognition for her work in combining holistic healing modalities with psychodynamic psychotherapy. In 1995, Lauren returned to the U.S. and founded Lauren Mackler & Associates in 2001.

Lauren brings her wisdom, experiential workshops, keynote presentations, and professional trainings to audiences around the world, and presents programs to Fortune 500 companies, educational conferences, universities, and professional associations. Her work has been covered widely in the media, including CNN, FOX, NPR, Wall Street Journal, Marie Claire, Whole Living, Money Magazine, Women's Day, Forbes, Ladies Home Journal, Parade, London's Daily Mail, and many other media. She has been a member of Northeastern University's faculty, a guest lecturer at Canyon Ranch and Brandeis and Harvard Universities, and she is a featured presenter at Omega and Kripalu.
