Lauren W. Wilson currently serves as President of ColorComm, Inc., which houses ColorComm Network, ColorComm Conference, ColorComm Media Group and DIVERGENOW.com. Lauren has emerged as one of the PR and advertising industry’s innovators and thought leaders. Lauren has been recognized by PR Week’s 50 Most Powerful in PR, the Holmes Report Innovator 25 and the PR Council’s Diversity Champion Award. Lauren has been featured in The Washington Post, COSMOPOLITAN.com, Ad Age, and others.

New York, March 20, 2015 – Lauren Wesley Wilson, the founder of ColorComm, Inc., the Women of Color in Communications group and an MSLGROUP employee in Washington, D.C., has decided to lead that organization full-time as president and chief networking officer. She will continue to expand the organization while serving as a media consultant for MSLGROUP.

ColorComm is a professional networking organization with chapters in Washington, D.C.; New York; Chicago and Atlanta. Each year the organization brings together approximately 300 women from the communications profession at a conference in Miami, FL.

MSLGROUP is a proud partner of ColorComm and will continue to support the organization’s goal of championing diversity in this space. MSLGROUP has sponsored the conference since its inception in 2014 and will again be a sponsor of ColorComm’s upcoming 2015 conference.

Lauren joined MSLGROUP in February 2013 from Capitol Hill where she served as the communications director for a member of Congress. In 2013, she was honored with PR Week’s 40 Under 40 Award and was recognized by Washington Women in PR as an emerging leader.

Wilson said, “I am looking forward to the next chapter of ColorComm and my career. I am truly grateful and appreciative of the opportunities that MSLGROUP has afforded me and their support for ColorComm.”
