Senior Program Manager

Laurie Ginsberg is a Senior Program Manager in the Business and Society Program at the Aspen Institute. Laurie manages the Faculty Networks program which convenes academics and business leaders around topics in sustainability. She ran the Teaching Innovation Program (TIP-India) and worked with the top ten business schools there to integrate social, environmental and ethical issues into mainstream business education. Laurie is currently launching the Peace and Economics Faculty Network, in collaboration with the Institute for Economics and Peace, with the goal of stimulating scholarship and curriculum development on the linkages between peace, business and economic development.

Laurie also manages Beyond Grey Pinstripes, a survey and ranking that assesses the extent to which MBA programs integrate social, environmental and ethical issues into their curriculum and faculty research, and supports other Aspen Center for Business Education programs including CasePlace.org, an online resource library for business school faculty.

Laurie joined the Aspen Institute in July 2009 after returning from six months in Africa, where she volunteered at a child rights NGO in Uganda.

Prior to that, Laurie helped launch the U.S. office of a London-based CSR consultancy. Laurie spent the bulk of her career (10+ years) in marketing and business development roles in the financial services industry, at AllianceBernstein, Credit Suisse and Evercore Partners.

Laurie has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from NYU's Stern School of Business and a BA in History and Hebrew from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
