Senior Advisor at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers

Larry Leisure joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers as a Senior Advisor in 2010 with more than 30 years of experience in the health and managed care industry.

Larry is a Co-Founder and Co-Managing Director of Chicago Pacific Founders, a Chicago and San Francisco based private equity firm focused on senior living and care delivery space. He also serves as Chairman of ADVI Health, Inc. a Washington, DC based healthcare strategy and reimbursement advisory firm.

He sits on the boards of several digital health and care delivery companies including Analyte Health, Jiff and Recovery Ways as well as Mango Health, Quantum Health and Redbrick Health where he is a board observer.

Before coming to KPCB, Larry had a distinguished career in healthcare serving in a number of senior consulting and industry roles. His consulting leadership positions have included Ingenix Consulting (now Optum) where he led their Payer vertical, Accenture where he was the Global Managing Partner for the Health Vertical, and Towers Perrin where he led the Managed Care practice. In these various roles he also served as client partner to many of the largest US health plans and pharmacy benefit management organizations as well as a number of the largest global employers.

From 2003 to 2007 after leaving Accenture Larry joined one of his clients, Kaiser Permanente, in a senior executive role where he oversaw the key market facing sales & account management functions.

In 2010 Larry co-founded Healthspottr, a new media company focused on the acceleration of innovation in health care and now convenes an annual innovation summit meeting in conjunction with The Aspen Institute.

Larry received his AB in Economics from Stanford University and his MBA in Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles.
