Lee Kiefer is a foil fencer renowned for her achievements on the global stage and a medical student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Kiefer's fencing career boasts numerous accolades, making her the most decorated women's foil fencer in American history. Notably, she is a four-time Olympian and three-time champion, having competed in the 2012 London, 2016 Rio de Janeiro, 2020 Tokyo, and 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Her victories include gold medals in both individual and team events at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Kiefer's prowess extends beyond the Olympic Games, as she has also earned multiple medals in the World Championships, Pan American Games, and Pan American Championships.

In addition to her international success, Kiefer has excelled in collegiate fencing as an NCAA team champion and a four-time NCAA individual champion. Her fencing pedigree is further highlighted by her #1 ranking in the FIE world rankings, a feat that marked her as the first American woman to hold the position. Kiefer’s fencing prowess is a family affair, with her sister, Alex Kiefer, a former Harvard foil fencer and 2011 NCAA champion, and her younger brother, Axel, also being a foil fencer.
