Award Winning Journalist; Former Health & Medicine Reporter for the Washington Post

Lenny Bernstein is a Washington, D.C.-based reporter formerly covering health and medicine for The Washington Post. He won the George Polk Award for medical reporting in 2017. As a reporter, Bernstein closely followed the issues surrounding the opioid crisis and the medical field during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has appeared on several news outlets including MSNBC, "CBS This Morning," and the Journalism Solutions Network.

Bernstein started as an editor on The Washington Post’s National desk and has worked on the Metro and Sports desk, as well as covered environmental issues.

Bernstein received a bachelors's degree from the University of Michigan in American Culture.
