Founder & CEO of Think Equal

Leslee is the Founder and CEO of THINK EQUAL, a not-for-profit organisation which calls for a system change in education to end the discriminatory mind set and cycle of violence across our world. THINK EQUAL calls on governments and education ministers to adopt our program mediating all aspects of experiential social and emotional learning.

The Committee of experts who have helped design and deliver the THINK EQUAL Programme include: Sir Ken Robinson, Dr Marc Brackett & Dr Robin Stern (co-directors of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence), Mary Gordon (Roots of Empathy), Barbara Isaacs (Montessori), Dr Urvashi Sahni (Brookings Institution, Ashoka), Vicki Colbert (Escuela Nueva) and others. We are also advising and working with the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on the initiative. Patrons include Meryl Streep, the Honourable Education Minister Unity Dow and Lord Rumi Verjee.

Leslee was voted by the NY Times the No.2 Most Impactful Woman of 2015 (second to Hillary Clinton), and has been awarded the prestigious Swedish Anna Lindh Human Rights Prize (previously won by Madeleine Albright). She has also been named Safe’s Global Hero of 2015, Global Thinker by Foreign Policy.
