Leslie Gray Streeter

Storyteller & Author of "Black Widow"

Born in Baltimore City, Leslie Gray Streeter is a University of Maryland College Park graduate, a veteran journalist, and someone always looking for new ways to tell stories - both her own and those in her communities.

She has written for publications like The Palm Beach Post, Modern Loss, The Sweet Midlife With Lynne and Leslie, and New Musical Express, and has been featured on Huffington Post, FoxNews.com, The Miami Herald, and The New York Times, among others. She’s a playwright whose goofy-smart Christmas play, “The Gift of the Mad Guy,” has been featured by Annapolis, Md.’s Building Better People Productions and others. She is also a contributing editor for Modern Loss. “Black Widow,” her first book, is a memoir about her widowhood and was published in March 2020.
