Lewis Caralla forms an integral part of the Georgia Tech team, serving as the Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach. With over 18 years of experience in the field, Caralla has held positions across nine different Division I schools, demonstrating his breadth of knowledge in the industry. His career started with internships at South Florida and Virginia, followed by a graduate assistant role at Mississippi State, where he earned a master's degree in kinesiology.

As testament to his expertise, Caralla has held the position of head strength and conditioning coach for three different NCAA Division I FBS programs. Moreover, he was recognized as Football Scoop’s 2018 Strength Coach of the Year while at Buffalo. His contribution to the Buffalo football team was paramount, leading them to a MAC East Division championship and a bowl berth in 2018, which was their first since 2013.

Caralla's leadership skills have been evident since his college days, where he was a two-time captain and all-conference running back at West Virginia Wesleyan and Defiance College. His experience is not just limited to coaching roles; he has also served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at renowned institutions such as Michigan, Mississippi State, and Georgia Tech. Furthermore, he has held full-time assistant strength coaching positions at Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, and Michigan, and served as the head strength coach at five institutions: North Texas, Louisiana Lafayette, Buffalo, Georgia Tech, and Charlotte.
