Lil' JJ

Little JJ is a young actor and comedian who currently has his own TV show, Just Jordan.

Lil’ JJ, whose birth name is James Lewis was born on October 31, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He first came into the public spotlight when he competed and won a talent search competition called Comin’ To The Stage (aired on BET) in 2003.

He was always telling jokes since he was a little kid and was the class clown at school.  In fact, he began doing stand-up comedy shows while still in middle school in his home tow, then across the country (including the Laffapalooza Comedy Festival in Atlanta).  He even made a guest appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, I and 106th and Park.

Since his win, he appeared on a number of television shows including Night Slimetime (as co-host with Chloe Dolandis), and as a cast member of Nickelodeon’s teen variety show All That.   He even made an appearance on an episode of Ned’s Declassified Survival Guide starring Devon Werkheiser.  He even appeared in the “Yo (Excuse Me Miss” video by Chris Brown.

His debut on the big screen came in 2005 in the movie Beauty Shop.  He has since also appeared in Yours, Mine and Ours (2005) [the cast of the movie was nominated for the 2006 Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film], and Crossover (2006).  He currently has another movie project in the works appropriately labeled “Untitled Lil’ JJ Project” with a 2007 or early 2008 release date.

In 2006, he received his own television teen comedy show on Nickelodeon called Just Jordan, which has received good ratings so far.

Favorites: comedians: Eddie Murphy, Chris Tucker, Bernie Mac.
