Comedian & Actor Known for "Get Out" & "Rel"

Lil Rel Howery is an actor, comedian, writer, and producer best known for playing Robert Carmichael in NBC's television comedy series The Carmichael Show and TSA officer Rod Williams in the horror film Get Out. He earned the 2017 MTV Movie + TV Awards Best Comedic Performance award and the 2018 CinemaCon USA Breakthrough Performer of the Year award for "Get Out."

Growing up on Chicago's West Side, Lil Rel began performing stand-up comedy in the city before making his TV debut on reality TV competition series "Last Comic Standing." From there, he began working in TV on Fox's "In Living Color" reboot and then on NBC's "The Carmichael Show." A few years later, Comedy Central and Netflix added Lil Rel's first exclusive solo stand-up special, "Kevin Hart Presents: Lil Rel: RELevent," for streaming in the United States. From there, Lil Rel grew his mainstream appeal even more after starring in Jordan Peele's iconic horror film, "Get Out," for which he won two awards. Lil Rel also showcased his comedic acting chops in "Vacation Friends" as all-business Marcus and in "Free Guy" (HBO Max) as Buddy alongside Ryan Reynolds.

Outside of acting, Lil Rel recently released his second HBO comedy special called "I Said It, Y'all Thinking It" where he delivers a uniquely hilarious set focused on everyday issues to get the audience laughing. On top of a very busy TV and film career, Lil Rel continues to perform at comedy clubs, showcases, and colleges around the country.

In addition, Lil Rel is a huge sports fan. He even played in the NBA Celebrity All-Star game in 2020. Lil Rel is also very relatable with his down-to-earth personality and is known for being a family man that people connect with.

Most recently, Lil Rel worked on "Luck," an animated Apple TV+ film alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Jane Fonda, and "Deep Water," a Hulu Original with Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck. He is currently working on many other high-profile projects such as "The Out-Laws" (Netflix) with Pierce Brosnan and Nina Dobrev, "Honeymoon Friends" (sequel to Vacation Friends) with John Cena and Yvonne Orji, "Harold and the Purple Crayon" (Columbia Pictures) with Zooey Deschanel and Zachary Levi, "PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie" (Paramount) with Kristen Bell and Taraji P. Henson, "Black Stallions" (Hartbeat Productions) with Kevin Hart and Don Cheadle, "Code 3" opposite Rainn Wilson, and "The Mill" (Hulu).
