During her 25+ years in global technology, Lila Ibrahim has learned that the most successful organizations are laser-focused on mission and impact. As a leader, Ibrahim believes it’s her responsibility to help every person in the organization understand the mission and develop their unique talents so that they can maximize their impact.

In her current role as Chief Operating Officer at DeepMind, she is responsible for guiding and developing teams across engineering, virtual environments, program management, and operations. Ibrahim focuses on building culture and processes for responsible science and innovation, developing technological infrastructure for research, and guiding their sustainable evolution and growth.

Prior to joining DeepMind, Ibrahim served as COO of Coursera, a global education technology company that I helped build from its early stages. Previously, She was a partner at the venture capital firm, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Ibrahim began her career at Intel, where she utilized her background in electrical engineering, including working as Chief of Staff to then-CEO and Chairman Dr. Craig Barrett.

Ibrahim is the co-founder and chair of Team4Tech, an education technology non-profit that partners with industry-leading companies to bring technology curricula and infrastructure to students in underserved communities, and she has served as an advisor and mentor to many young professionals and early-stage companies in the technology field.
