Lillian Glass      

Dr. Lillian Glass is one of the world's most well respected and foremost authorities in the fields of psychology and communication.

She holds two Ph.D's - one in Counseling Psychology and the other in Communication Disorders. The author of over a dozen books, including the best-sellers Body Language Advantage, Body Language of Liars, I Know What You’re Thinking, Talk to Win, and her latest I Know What You're Thinking: Using the Four Codes of Reading People to Improve Your Life. Dr. Glass has maintained private practices in Beverly Hills, California and New York City, where her clients have included celebrities, politicians, and world leaders. She has lectured worldwide. Currently, Dr. Glass is seen throughout the media providing commentary on the psychological implications of current issues. She has appeared on Larry King Live, The View, Msnbc, and on other television shows regularly. As a recognizable authority, her opinions are valued throughout the media, as she has been consistently quoted in Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, NY Times and a variety of other magazines and newspapers.

After receiving her first Ph.D. at the young age of 24, in the field of Communication Disorders from the University of Minnesota, as well as her MS from the University of Michigan in the field of Speech Pathology, she began treating patients with severe cranial and facial deformities. She did research and published numerous articles in medical and professional journals regarding the psychological and communication aspects of individuals who suffered with these deformities. After completing a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Medical Genetics at UCLA School of Medicine, where she was both the youngest and only Ph.D. in an MD program, Dr. Glass went on to become a university professor at USC. There, she taught in the medical and dental schools and in the liberal arts college. In addition to her teaching duties at USC, she received formal journalism training. Later Dr. Glass received her second Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.

She has shared her message with law enforcement and security groups including the FBI, Women in Federal Law Enforcement, Infraguard and to various police departments across the US and Canada.

Her Human Lie Detection Analysis has been invaluable to police officers not only in their interview and interrogation processes, but in their analysis of surveillance tapes.

Her body language analysis instruction not only helps police officers learn to quickly detect deception, it allows them to become better communicators as they learn how to effectively use their voice, speech pattern, facial language and body language. Dr. Glass’ instruction in Gender Differences in Communication also helps them to better understand the nuances of male/female communication and interaction during the policing process.

She has written a regular column for Singles magazine. Dr. Glass has co-hosted such television shows as Alive and Well, AM San Francisco, and served as a guest host on AM Detroit (Kelly and Company). She was the psychology reporter for the Los Angeles ABC affiliate, KABC television, Eyewitness News for five years. She has appeared in numerous pilots where she served as either the host or co-host for various television shows. Currently, she co-hosts the award-winning television show, Healthwise.
