Emmy Award-Winning Actress, Television Host & Advocate for Alzheimer's Disease

Linda Dano is an accomplished actress, entrepreneur, author, former talk show host, fashion advisor, and designer. For 17 years, Dano played the character of Felicia Gallant on "Another World" and won the 1993 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress for her exceptional performance in that role. She also received three additional Emmy nominations, as well as numerous Soap Opera Digest and MVP Awards. The ABC network picked Dano up in June 1999 to reprise the role of Gretel "Rae" Cummings, and shortly after, she appeared on all four of ABC daytime soaps, including "One Life to Live," "General Hospital," "All My Children," and "Port Charles." Her character's home-base remains on "One Life to Live."

Dano has had a long-running clothing and home furnishings line with QVC, first partnering with the home shopping channel in 1993. Dano also actively contributes her time to various organizations. Personally affected by her father's long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease, she serves as an Honorary Chairperson of the National Alzheimer's Association, which bestowed the "Charles Mann Care Giving Award" to Dano and her mother. In 2021, The daytime television veteran came back to our screens as the villain, Vivian Alamain, on "Days of Our Lives." Dano also appeared in an episode of LMN's "The Haunting Of..." where she and a psychic medium, Kim Russo, explored the past of her historical home.
